Pedigree name: Venetian Mask of Desert Meadow
DOB: 06.03.2019
Veni is our second Sheltie, and while Nai is every bit a real lady, Veni is quite the opposite—there’s nothing ladylike about her! She’s wild, adventurous, and mischievous. She’ll chase after deer, eat anything she finds on the ground, and if she doesn’t eat it, she’ll most definitely roll in it!
Veni is a dog of superlatives—she’s the cutest little thing, the naughtiest, the smartest, and also the most demanding. She’s an absolute joy to have around, and I can’t imagine life without her. She’s such a cool little creature, and our lives would be incredibly boring without her.

She’s also a little boss. Even the Border Collies are a bit afraid of her—except for Tiger, of course, who doesn’t take anyone seriously. Being so clever and highly motivated by food and toys makes Veni incredibly easy to train. Sometimes, she learns things just by watching others. When she wants to train, she’ll even bring me the clicker herself!
At just the age of three years, and in her first year in A3, Veni earned her spot on the national World Championship team. Because she is so tiny and hyperflexible, I decided to limit the amount of agility we do. It’s of the utmost importance to me that dogs only engage in activities that are healthy and appropriate for them.
