Pedigree name: Lexceeding Black Panther
DOB: 19.09.2014
Pan, a son of our beloved Lexi, has been my greatest teacher. No other dog has taught me as much about agility as he has.
He’s a true mama’s boy—gentle, sweet, and irresistibly cuddly. Pan’s greatest joy comes from doing everything right and hearing how proud I am of him. But his sensitive nature makes him hard on himself; he doesn’t handle mistakes well. For Pan, only a jackpot reward will do, and he’ll even refuse a reward if he feels the exercise wasn’t executed perfectly.
Every detail matters to him. He needs to fully understand each step of an exercise before he’s ready to perform with complete confidence. While this might take more time initially, once Pan knows what he’s doing, he performs better than anyone else! He’s had his share of victories, including wins in finals. Yet more often than not, his runs ended with just one bar down—our infamous “one-bar curse.” Without it, he would have even claimed a bronze medal at the Agility World Championship.

Sadly, the prime years of his competitive career were overshadowed by the COVID-19 pandemic, cutting short what could have been an even greater legacy.
Despite the challenges we faced, I wouldn’t change a thing. Training Pan was far from easy in the beginning, but the journey has been deeply rewarding. He’s had an extraordinary career, and even at nearly 10 years old, he’s still a champion—winning the finals of the Slovenian National Championship!
Pan is truly one of a kind—a special dog who has left an indelible mark on my heart and our sport.
